1. Relationship to Membean

MemGenie is an entirely separate and unaffiliated service. It is not owned, operated, or endorsed by Membean or any organization connected to it. For information about the official Membean platform, please visit www.membean.com. Any mention of “Membean” in our materials is used only for identification and comparison.

2. Academic Integrity Commitment

MemGenie is designed to encourage responsible learning. By using our services, you agree to respect the academic standards and policies of your school or institution. You are solely accountable for how you use MemGenie. If your use violates academic integrity rules or honor codes, MemGenie will not be held responsible for disciplinary action or other consequences. However, as MemGenie servers are located in Iceland, this makes enforceable action by educational departments difficult.

3. Purchases, Billing, and Cancellations

All payments made through MemGenie are considered final once processed. We do not issue refunds for any completed transactions.
You may cancel an active subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period, after which your plan will not renew.

4. Software Usage and User Liability

Our Chrome extension and related tools are intended for general assistance and productivity. They are provided on an “as available” basis, without any guarantee of uninterrupted function or compatibility with every website.
You assume full responsibility for:

• How and where you use MemGenie tools,

• Any outcomes resulting from violations of third-party terms (including Membean’s), and

• Any technical issues caused by interference, modification, or misuse.

MemGenie may update, disable, or remove parts of the software at any time without advance notice.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All materials developed by MemGenie — including branding, design, source code, and written content — belong exclusively to MemGenie and its creators. These assets are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reuse any MemGenie content without express written consent.

6. Legal Responsibilities

MemGenie complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Any act of tampering, unauthorized copying, reverse-engineering, or illegal distribution of our tools or materials may result in account termination and legal enforcement. MemGenie reserves the right to share information with law enforcement or academic authorities when appropriate.
